Describe your most memorable kayaking experience:

Every day in a kayak is a memorable day for me! As long as there are plenty of waves for me to get out of the water smiling and having enjoyed the company of good friends in the surf, it’s all good! Probably one of the most memorable for me at the moment was a rather large day recently out in Morocco on my own in some big waves. The boys didn’t fancy it so I took to the water and pulled into some solid 7 foot waves and just had the best time!

Advice for any new kayakers coming into the sport:

Try and get out in your kayak as much as possible! Always reflect on your days kayaking and look for improvement to progress, but remember; it’s about fun so as long as you get off the water smiling then it’s been a good day!

Fusion 7’7”
The 7’7" is a really fast kayak that has genuinely surprised me, as the designer I had all sorts of hopes and ideas about the kayak, and I couldn’t be more happy with the result! It is really comfortable, so I can sit out in the surf for ages! It suits all surfing conditions that I’ve taken it out in so far and holds its speed in those conditions exceptionally well! It turns very quickly and easily making it very manoeuvrable and fun to surf! Finally it is the easiest kayak I have ever surfed to hit aerials in!!!
